The Ballroom
Built in 1907 from locally quarried limestone, the impressive two-story Masonic Building has long been a cornerstone of the Blanco town square. Originally, the first floor served as rental space for local businesses, while the upstairs hosted meetings for Masonic Lodge #216. After a fire in 1929, the building was carefully rebuilt, and the Masons continued their gatherings there until 1974.

Today, the beautifully restored Uptown Blanco Ballroom shines once again as a premier venue for private events, celebrations, and live performances. With its gleaming hardwood floors, mirrored walls, intimate lighting, and state-of-the-art sound and projection system, the Ballroom offers an elegant setting for weddings, receptions, concerts, and special occasions of all kinds.

The space also proudly serves as home to Blanco Performing Arts, whose mission is to bring world-class performances to the Hill Country, enriching the cultural life of Blanco and beyond. Learn more at www.blancoperformingarts.com
